Children of this World Book II of the Fata Morgana Series by Jo-Anne Blanco

The second book of Jo-Anne Blanco's series of fantasy adventures in the world of Arthurian legend opens with another storm on the windswept Cornish coast and this time it comes with the threat of war. Morgan wiser than her years, longs to be involved and to help her family in any way that she can. Morgan continues her lessons in healing with her tutor Sebile and learns more  about the Old Gods and the Old Ways as the feast of Samhain approaches. Morgan feels torn; her friend Taliesin is an apprentice druid but her cousin Fleur is devoutly Christian, Morgan knows that it is possible to understand both sides. Morgan remains suspicious and distrustful of Merlin and discovers his part in a plot to create division in Belerion. As Morgan's father greets the high king Vortigern and his Queen; the spiteful Rowena others are plotting with his rivals the Pendragon brothers who wish to reclaim their father's throne. Morgan grows and develops in this second instalment and the cast of characters also expands. The author has clearly done a huge amount of research and is a great storyteller making this an exciting and worthy addition to the fictional interpretations of Celtic myth.
